Supporting adults navigating anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief, fertility challenges, pregnancy and baby loss, and the emotional complexities of parenthood

To be seen, understood and accepted is one of our most fundamental human needs. Just as we are often wounded in relationships, we are often healed in relationships.

That healing relationship can include the therapeutic one.

I believe that meaningful change happens when people feel truly heard and accepted.

I deeply respect each person’s capacity for change. My role is to walk alongside you as you make sense of your experiences and move towards a life that feels more meaningful.

While many of the challenges we face are universal, each person’s experience of them is deeply personal and unique. Rather than making assumptions, I approach each person with openness and curiosity, taking the time to understand their unique experience.

I believe therapy is a space to better understand yourself and practise new ways of relating that can support real change beyond the therapy room.

I know that taking the first step can feel daunting. I also know that it can be the beginning of finding a different way forward.

Compassionate, curious, human…

The short version: Qualified counsellor. Trained in Transactional Analysis. Relational in my approach. Curious listener. Fellow imperfect human.

The long(er) version: Like many therapists, I’ve had my own experiences of navigating challenges, life transitions and the complexities that come with being human. My own experience of personal therapy was profound, insightful and healing. It inspired me to train in Transactional Analysis and to create a space where others can feel truly heard, understood and accepted.

I’ve always had an interest in relationships, what drives us to behave the way we do, and how people make sense of their lives.

You’ll find me to be someone calm, grounded, and able to hold what feels difficult without judgement. I'll take the time to understand you - your experiences, your relationships and what matters most to you - before we think together about what comes next.

About me

You don’t have to have all the answers or arrive “sorted” – we can unpack things together.

You are seeking a change in your life. You might not know what that change looks like yet, and that’s okay. We can work that out together.

You might be unsure, anxious or hesitant. You may also find yourself wondering how your past experiences have shaped the person you are today.

Some of the people I work with are navigating fertility challenges, pregnancy or baby loss, or the emotional complexities of becoming - or deciding whether to become - a parent. These experiences can feel deeply uncertain, isolating and painful. If this is part of your story, I offer a compassionate space where you can be met with care, curiosity and understanding.

About our work together

Therapy is deeply relational…

I strive to offer a safe, warm, thoughtful, and approachable presence – but what matters most is that you experience it that way too.

We’ll have an introductory call – a chance for both of us to get a sense of what working together might feel like.

In this call, you can tell me a little about what has brought you to therapy and ask any practical questions about how I work, my approach, fees, or availability. There is no pressure to make an immediate decision. The purpose of the call is simply to explore whether working together feels like a good fit for you.

No two people experience life in exactly the same way, and no two therapeutic journeys are the same.

Working together means exactly that. We’ll work collaboratively, at a pace that feels right for you, in an open, thoughtful and non-judgemental space where your thoughts, feelings, and experiences can be explored.

In our sessions, my role is not to offer quick fixes or advice, or tell you what to do. And you won't be expected to work everything out on your own either; we'll think about it together. I am not a blank canvas, or a silent presence in the space. I will bring myself into our work, and if something has an impact on me – and is appropriate to share – I will.

I listen carefully and notice patterns, themes, and connections that may not yet be fully visible. I am steady and reflective, and I'm comfortable sitting with uncertainty and painful emotions, without rushing to provide answers or quick solutions.
